We are seeking a highly capable Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects within the power generation and clean energy sector. The successful candidate will oversee projects from initial concept through to final handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle — from design and procurement through construction, commissioning, and client handover.
- Lead project teams and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk registers, ensuring commercial and contractual compliance.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain clear communication and alignment throughout the project.
- Oversee HSEQ compliance and drive best practice across all project phases.
- Prepare and deliver regular project progress reports and presentations.
- Manage change control, ensuring variations are captured, costed, and agreed appropriately.
- Support tendering and business development activities through technical input and project planning expertise.
- Ensure smooth handover to operations and maintenance teams at project completion.
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering industrial, infrastructure, or power/energy engineering projects.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering disciplines.
- Demonstrable experience managing projects within power generation, clean energy, or large-scale industrial infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contract management (e.g., NEC, JCT).
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively under pressure.
Desirable:
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
- APM, PRINCE2, or PMP qualification.
- Experience with BESS, CHP, renewable generation, or grid connection projects.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
